Peet Jackson

The Weaver – Bridging Old Worlds and New

From his first performance at the age of ten, music has been at the heart of Peet Jackson’s life.

Born and raised in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Peet proudly draws inspiration from both his Irish and Ukrainian roots, blending a rich appreciation of heritage with a lifelong passion for folk music and songwriting.

A talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Peet has spent years developing his craft, performing in theatres, folk clubs, music venues and festivals. Today, audiences around the world know him as a key member of Seven Drunken Nights, where his musicianship, vocals and infectious enthusiasm have become a favourite part of the production.

Away from the theatre stage, Peet continues to write and perform his own material, exploring the stories, traditions and experiences that have shaped him as an artist. His deep love of music history and cultural storytelling shines through in every performance, creating a genuine connection with audiences wherever he plays.

Whether leading a song in a packed theatre or performing in an intimate folk club, Peet remains driven by the same passion that inspired him as a ten-year-old performer: a love of great songs, great stories and the power of live music to bring people together.

“Born of Irish roots, Ukrainian heritage and Yorkshire folk traditions, Peet turns history, heritage and heart into song.
